Job description
The Manager Operations DH is responsible for the control and supervision of the DH (Daily Handling, cross- dock warehouse) department.
Your tasks and responsibilities
• Optimisation and control of all working processes
• Participation in recruitment of personnel
• Training and introduction of employees and especially of shift leaders
• Motivating and guidance of all employees especially shift leaders
• Keeping permanent contact with all shift leaders DH
• Optimisation of personnel placement planning and personnel development
• Control of the constant adherence of defined quality standards
• Control of the constant adherence of safety and security instructions and guidelines
• Purchase of warehouse utilities and equipment
• Control of the economic use of given resources
• Control of the working time
• Cost optimization
• Evaluation of the DH employees
• Compliance and realization of the pharma & healthcare standards of all activities in their full entity by considering the relevant GDP requirements and guidelines, customer demands and all internal regulations of the KN Lux organization
• Initiation of DGR training measures for employees
• Ensuring that DH employees constantly adhere to regulations in terms of loading of dangerous goods and apply appropriate measures/ actions for load securing
• Compliance with required customer quality standards
Your skills and experience
• Several years of working experience in the area of logistics, transport and warehousing
• Profound knowledge of warehouse organisation and process optimization
• Fluent language skills (written & verbal) in German and English
• MS Office
• Openness and flexibility
• Assertiveness
• Being able and willing to take initiatives
• Motivating way of leading people
